On behalf of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of Lake Forest College I am pleased to present two boxes of newly published books to the Social Sciences Library of the Allameh Tabtabai University in Tehran. These books were donated by various publishers to one of our professors (Professor David Boden) who was the convener of the Middle Western Sociological Association meetings in 2007 in Chicago. Since some of these books were in duplicates our department decided to undertake the expenses of mailing them to your library. It is our sincere hope that through consulting these books your students will gain a closer appreciation of the current global discourses in sociology and women’s Studies.
